Cheryl A. Burns, RDN

Founder, Breakthrough Compliance Consulting

Cheryl A. Burns is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with extensive experience in Head Start and compliance-focused roles. She earned her degree in Dietetics from the University of Cincinnati and completed her dietetic internship at Henry Ford Hospital.

Cheryl spent eleven years as a Federal Reviewer for the Head Start program, specializing in environmental inspections, personnel file reviews, and health and nutrition compliance. She has also presented at national Head Start conferences on food safety.

Today, Cheryl provides practical, customized compliance support to Head Start and preschool programs, helping organizations strengthen systems and maintain audit readiness with confidence.
